For over 400 years people have been living and fishing on Appledore Island. Located 10 miles off the coast of New Hampshire the location is remote and home to severe winter and summer weather. The owners contacted JG painting based on our reputation for fairness and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, in this case traveling 10 miles by ferry each way just to get to the location.
The house, a former cod fishing shack and then saloon in the 1800s was in tough shape and required extensive prep work. In order to maximize the lifespan of the paint we used a specialized primer called primer call Mad dog and two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration on the house.
